Lohengrin
There is something so dreamlike, ethereal and somewhat homo-erotic in the tale of Wagner's Swan Knight, Lohengrin. Especially in the music of the Knight himself. It's a bold and dramatic work I've grown to adore over the years, it's struggle between the Old Religion and Christianity is a theme I am most attracted to in literature and culture.
