As you may already know I have been engaged to design the Set for the upcoming production of Britten's chamber opera The Rape of Lucretia to be staged by ICW Productions in November 2019.
Tomorrow we begin to paint the set in situ and I cannot wait to get to work. Here is one of the three sketches I came up with forming the basis of the design, showing the set in three different lighting states.
Look out for progress pics, I plan to take plenty.
