Flashback Friday
Here is an image I designed about 9 years ago in pen, ink and watercolour. The image itself has recently found it's way onto the Studio wall in our new house. This is just a snap I took with my phone since I don't have a properly photographed image of the painting as of yet.
Of course, this post has to have a soundtrack and below will certainly not disappoint. Anna Netrebko recently released her foray into the Verismo repertoire with the album titled just that. Not only do we get treated to Liu's arias, stunningly sung, but we also get Turandot's In Questa Reggia, to me one of the highlights of this album.
