So I went and reworked this...

...a concept I'm working on for Richard Strauss' Salome.  Strauss' opera was one of my first operatic loves, that's right - I don't do things by halves!  Because of that in a way, my view of the opera changes every time I look at it from a design point of view.  

At the moment I'm trying to put all visual ideas into one so consider this the second draft of a work in progress.  Salome is a subject I will never tire of painting or loving, there is so work influenced by the subject to admire, in all artforms.  Have a great week.
