My earworm for the evening...

...is the fabulous finale from Act 1 of Richard Wagner's early masterpiece, Lohengrin. This time I've chosen the Kubelik recording with an excellent central quartet of soloists in James King, Gundula Janowitz, Gwyneth Jones and Thomas Stewart and the orchestral/choral forces of Bavarian Radio. There is much to enjoy in this set, in classic Deutsche Grammophon sound.
