His career has been one success after another from his first majors successes with Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar right through to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and Melbourne’s Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremonies and then more recently with Opera Australia's Salome and the Melbourne Ring.
He received an Order of Australia AM in 2005 for his contribution to the Arts, not to mention the 2012 Helpmann Award and picked up a Tony, justly deserved after such an illustrious career.
