Un Faune

This is a speed sketch I did yesterday in under three hours, inspired by the coming summer.  I was looking for an Expressionistic view of a Faune, a vague, dreamlike form emerging from the forest.  Of course, the soundtrack one must listen to while designing this from Debussy, Ravel, Respighi and Stravinsky.

All you need for inspiration is the clip below.  It's Nureyev in a recreation of the original performance choreographed by Vaslav Nijinsky with the original designs by Leon Bakst.  A great way to spend some time on a Sunday.
