Yesterday I purchased a copy of Antal Dorati's recording of Wagner's Die Fliegende Hollander with George London as the Dutchman and Leonie Rysanek as Senta.

These beauties are from the Met's archives and I thought to share them with you.  It's a remarkable recording, London's voice is velvety gorgeousness, Rysanek highly entertaining as always, a natural Senta.  A review will follow in the coming days.

I'm working on some fun things which I'll hopefully be able to share with you over the coming weeks, I've just got to a. find more hours in my day and b. learn a bit more about moviemaker.  More soon.
