New Work: In the Depths of the Rhine


Inspired by the opening scene of Wagner's Das Rheingold my latest piece is entitled In the Depths of the Rhine.  Wagner's epic cycle provides much material for Fantasy Art and it's been inspiring making these images come to life. 

These paintings are as much a tribute to the art of Arthur Rackham as they are to Richard Wagner himself.

    Quite a fine collection: I also have a wide collection of paintings based on music and particularly on Wagner's works
