Image of the Day

The penultimate day of my Elektra Advent Calendar and we have Astrid Varnay playing Klytemnestra from the Gotz Fridrich film.  This is a perverse portrayal and absolutely brilliant.  Her voice may not be what it was but she shows her formidable acting skills and delights in the close-up.  Costume wise it is over the top like the character should be.
