Image of the Day

Elektra day nine and we have Inge Borkh as Elektra.  To me she is vocally one of the most dramatic exponents of the title role.  Her performance under Karl Bohm for Deutsche Gramaphon is inspiring.  There also are many excellent live recordings which capture her at the height of her career.
