It's been a great weekend of musical experiences.  Last night was the final night of the WASO 2011 season, culminating in Holst's The Planets. 

Today I witnessed the Metropolitan Opera's HD broadcast of Wagner's Siegfried, the third installment of the Robert Lepage Ring Cycle.  

Both were brilliant in their own ways, reviews are planned for the next few days.
