New Work

My latest offering has been uploaded into the Fantasy/Mythology gallery, The Apparition of Death.  A self-portrait as Wagner's Siegmund the Volsung, destined to meet his death at the hand of Hunding in the conclusion of Act II of Die Walkure.  

Here he is greeted by Brunnhilde, warning him of his impending fate and vowing to fight for him once she understands the depth of his love for his sister/wife Sieglinde (it's a long story!).  

Thanks to Melanie for once again providing the inspiration for my Valkyrie.
