Ride of the Valkyries

So far we have seen Valkyries on cherry pickers, Valkyries riding 'The Machine' and now, thanks to a recent production from Copenhagen of Wagner's Die Walkure, we have champagne-skulling Valkyries!  This is a particularly good modern staging, in particular the interaction between the Valkyrie, the way they throw the dead heroes around with preternatural strength (not to mention fight over the contents of their pockets!), and their costumes, ball gowns with a blood stained tide-mark.  Enjoy!
