New Work: The Sleep of Brunnhilde

The second installment of the Valkyrie series is now complete and in the Fantasy/Mythology gallery.  It depicts Brunnhilde caught in her eternal sleep, surrounded by a ring of fire that can only be entered by a hero who has no fear and is pure of heart.  Of course, Wagner's Magic Fire Music was the inspiration for this piece, I have tried to capture its mythical and magical qualities, I hope you enjoy it.
