Brunnhilde, Heilige Braut

It's been rather a productive weekend and the results can be seen in the Fantasy/Mythology gallery.  It's the third and final, for now, in my Valkyrie series.  The temptation is to paint a sky full of Valkyries, but that will have to wait for another day.  In the meantime, I thought I would capitalise on my obsession with Wagner and work on something from Tristan und Isolde.  Below are two famous Isoldes from days gone by, and yes, mine might just have plaits!
