Son of Ra

As a show of support for the ongoing struggle for democracy in Egypt, I decided to revisit one of my better works on canvas and work a little photoshop magic on it.  

It has been a plan of mine for quite some time now to do this, and a number of other previous images are about to get the same treatment.  I have always felt I could only get so far on canvas with the way I wanted something to look, especially in the quality of light and colour, which to me are very important.  

So the first one to be completed is Ramses II, of which you can see the original below.  The new one is here, though I have also posted it into the Male Nudes Gallery, feel free to leave me your feedback.
